Listening to young people: Mobility for future

It would hence appear that international youth work should promote and encourage peer support. That said, it should be noted that the focus groups may con- stitute a socially homogenous group, since the majority of participants in the LEMOCC study were well-educat- ed young adults. The international youth work com- munity hence must continue to ensure that groups and activities remain inclusive for and accessible to all young people.

Last but not least, the outcomes of the online survey, the interest shown by the young participants in the focus group sessions and the appreciation the young people had for being invited to participate in the LEMOCC study are clear signs that studies of this kind are ideal to get the ball rolling on something . Young peo- ple need to be given a (louder) voice, along with opportu- nities to get together with their peers around the world and take shared action. This is not least the reason why this report was given the title Listening to young people: Mobility for future .
