Albert Applicant, a fifty-year old retired marshal, filed a key license application with the TGRA. If licensed, he will be hired Director of Security for the casino. Albert is highly respected in the community, is active with the county volunteer fire department, and serves as deacon in his church. He has two commendations for having saved lives. Albert has no criminal history, good credit, excellent references, and an honorable discharge from the military. In addition to the usual sources, the background investigator ran a Google search on Albert. Newspaper sources indicated that Albert had undergone more than ten internal investigations involving excessive use of force, discrimination, and conduct unbecoming a marshal over the course of his career. The same sources indicated that he had been vindicated on all ten occasions. His social media page, however, indicated that Albert is active with an organization known for its negative views on race relations and paramilitary activities.
