daughter was born, we haven’t needed day care because my mom stays with her every day while my wife and I are at work. I am so thankful that my daughter gets to have a relationship with her grandmother, and my mom has already started teaching her just like she taught me. Right now, our daughter is learning how to say grace before a meal.

Even though my mother has done so much for me and continues to do all she can for my family,

I can’t celebrate the mothers in my life without celebrating my wife, too. She has been beyond supportive of me

in my career. She dropped the life that she had in Akron to move to Wintersville with me when I started my practice. Running your own practice can sometimes feel like you’re on call 24/7,

My mother and my wife have done so much to help, love, and support me over the years that I don’t know where I would be without them. They’ve both changed my life drastically and for the better. Whether it was giving me every advantage I needed to succeed in school or leaving behind their life in another city to go with me as I started my own practice, I could never show enough appreciation for everything they have done for me. My mother always emphasized the importance of education to me and my brother. She wanted us to do the best we could do so that we would succeed in life. That emphasis definitely fostered in me a desire to do well in my academics. But my mom went even further than just telling us to do our homework. When I was in middle school, I had a lot of trouble with algebra. I had been a straight A student for my entire life, but algebra was my first C. Instead of just telling me to study harder, Mom got me a tutor. The tutor helped me understand algebra, and my mom made sure I went to every tutoring session on time. By the time I got to high school, math was one of my favorite subjects, and I was so adept at it that I started tutoring other students myself! My mom went to extreme lengths to make sure I was academically successful, and I am extremely grateful for how much she cared.

and I’m often meeting clients at incredibly low points in their lives. This combination can take an emotional toll on me and my family, but my

wife is incredibly supportive and amazing at creating a comfortable environment in the midst of all the strife. She

supports me in my business ideas but also knows when to keep me grounded. She makes sure I spend quality time with our daughter, and that I remember that family is the most important thing in life.

I’m thankful that my mother and my wife have a good relationship with one another. I feel like I always hear horror stories about spouses despising their in-laws, but we don’t have that in my family. I’m incredibly grateful that they’re both in my corner, pushing me forward, and I love them both very much.
