Une entente pour le camion-échelle?

deuxmunicipalités depuis la !n de 2013 et le Canton de Champlain a récemment signi!é son intérêt au sujet d’une nouvelle entente pour le camion-échelle. Lors de la séance du conseil de Hawkes- bury du 14 septembre prochain, le conseil votera pour la divulgation du coût d’une telle entente, qui serait d’une valeur de 10 000 $ annuellement, en plus d’un taux de 500 $ l’heure lorsque le camion-échelle serait utilisé sur le territoire du Canton de Champlain. Selon la Ville, cette facture est intimement liée au coût d’utilisation an- nuelle du camion, qui s’élève à 109 212 $, ce qui comprend les coûts de rembourse- ment, d’entretien et d’entreposage et les assurances. L’utilisation d’un camion-échelle est essentielle pour les sauvetages ou lors d’in- cendies de bâtiments agricoles, permettant d’arroser de l’extérieur dans un plus grand rayon ainsi que de gagner en hauteur.
