THE TABERNACLE CHART On page 662 is an advertisement which affords an unusual opportunity for pastors and Bible teachers to se cure a valuable painted chart at a reasonable price. The chart is designed and painted by Mr. P. S. Borlch, who has had for many years a large sign-painting es tablishment in Dallas, Texas, where he was an officer in the Scofield Memorial Church at the time the editor of this magazine was pastor, and has ever since been a warm, personal friend. The size of thelj chart is 6 feet 9 inches by 9 feet, and the Scripture ref erences, showing the typical teaching of the Tabernacle, are given, so that it can be used effectively even by a novice. The price is only $25.00, and any profits beyond the actual cost of the material will b e -used by Mr. Borich in Christian work. We believe that any pastor or Bible Teacher could easily finance this pro position by organizing a class and announcing the plan to take an offer ing at each session to cover the cost of the chart. If the class consisted of fifty members who contributed) ten cents at each meeting, the chart would be paid for in five weeks, and would then be available for use anywhere at any time. The use of this chart cannot fail to greatly strengthen the faith of believ ers in the wonderful typical teaching of the Tabernacle. We "heartily com mend it to our readers.— T. C. H.
the present time there are more calls than we can answer. Pray the Lord that we may be able to answer these Macedonian calls. Oarage Meetings At present we have rented a garage in a Jewish section In which we are conducting meetings for Jewish boys. At these gatherings the crowd num bers from forty to one hundred. We have the opportunity of presenting the Gospel to those who would otherwise have no opportunity of hearing of Jesus and salvation. At present we are planning on renting a number of garages in which to hold classes, both for the boys and girls. Likewise, we are planning on renting vacant lots on which to show the lantern pictures in connection with the giving of Bibli cal lectures. Pray for this special phase of the work also. m 'sk Christian Endeavor Topics (Continued froqi page 648) ing (Psalm 69 :30 ); in the heart (Eph. 5:19, 20 ); in public (Psalm 149 :1 ); in private (Psalm 149 :5 ); every day (Psalm 92:1, 2 ); morning and night (Acts 2:46, 47; Psalm 119:164); con tinually. ' NOVEMBER 24, 1026 Christian Endeavor Around the World Phil. 2:1-13 The Scripture lesson is one of the greatest chapters of the New Testa ment. The theme is— Christ the Be liever’s Pattern.' The Plea for Unity, vs. 1-4. The Perfect Servant, vs. 6-8. The Perfect Servant is set forth as the most beautiful illustration of, and powerful argument for, humility ever given to man. The Preeminence of Jesus, vs. 9-11. Exaltation followed humiliation. The Principle and Practice of Sal vation, vs. 12-16. Salvation is God within us, the indwelling Christ. The practice of salvation is simply yielding to Him and trusting Him to work out through us in our daily work, what He first works in us. The Pattern Exemplified, vs. 17-30. Three men of like passions as w e -j, Paul, Timothy, and Epaphroditus— demonstrated that it is possible to live a real life, and by the power of the in dwelling Christ exemplify the Pattern.
