Protection Act (FGPA) The FGPA will move us toward the fossil-fuel-free future we need. It will ban greenhouse gas emissions from all new power plants, ban fracking, and ban crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids exports. It’s the only bill in Congress that calls for a federal ban on fracking — a critical step to ending climate chaos.
Reform Act (FSRA) The FSRA will ban the construction of new factory farms and the expansion of existing ones, phase out existing factory farms by 2040 and enforce environmental laws on existing factory farms. It would also invest in a just transition by creating a $10 billion buy-out program for factory farm operators to pay off debt or transition to more sustainable farming systems.
Transparency, Equity and Reliability (WATER) Act The WATER Act will create a $35 billion annual fund to restore our ailing public water infrastructure — including the replacement of aged residential water main pipes — critical for the health of millions of households. It’s a long- term, comprehensive solution to fund the protection of our public water systems while creating almost one million jobs.
