There never has been a century in the history of man since sin came into the world that there has not been war going on somewhere in the world. Man is at enmity with man because he is at enmity with God. War is an awful curse; most of us would like to change things if we could so that there would he no more war. We know, however, that as long as men will not submit to the gospel and to the Lord Jesus Christ there cannot he peace in the world. HEART OF THE LESSON As the moral character of the nation deteriorates the alcohol problem becomes more and more acute. National leaders are becoming alarmed over the increase in the number of alcoholics and the tre mendous cost in crime and hospitalization due to drink. What is the answer to this pressing problem?
