Ideally located in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon at the Crowne Plaza, which enjoys lovely river views, we spend our weekend exploring this charming medieval market town. After easing ourselves in with a relaxing morning cruise, we have time to explore Stratford’s many brilliant attractions. SUGGESTED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Stratford & River Cruise We begin our day with a relaxing 45 minute river cruise with an engaging guide who will bring Shakespeare’s Stratford to life. The rest of the day will be spent at leisure to explore this lovely medieval market town. We have time to explore Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, a beautiful 500 year old cottage where Shakespeare courted his bride-to-be. Or perhaps we can visit Shakespeare’s birthplace. The visit here allows us to walk in Shakespeare’s footsteps and explore his childhood world. We hear tales of Shakespeare’s family life and discover how the extraordinary William Shakespeare continues to shape our lives today. Day 3 Departure After a leisurely Sunday breakfast, we begin our journey home.
