Stowe Away to Silverstone Our tour features impressive Shuttleworth and its collection of vintage aircraft and veteran vehicles, Didcot Railway Centre and a trip to The Silverstone Interactive Museum to learn about the motor racing world. We also feature the beautiful gardens at Stowe and an afternoon in Oxford. PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Shuttleworth We spend today at Shuttleworth where we enjoy a guided tour of the impressive Shuttleworth Collection of aircraft and vehicles. The Collection contains an array of vintage aircraft, bikes and vehicles, classic motorcycles and agricultural exhibits. Adjacent to the aerodrome that houses the Collection is tranquil Swiss Garden which recreates landscapes in a picturesque alpine style – a delight to explore. Day 3 The Silverstone Interactive Museum & Stowe This morning, we visit the Silverstone Race Circuit and The Silverstone Interactive Museum . The exhibition features state of the art interactive displays and our visit will end with the thrill of speeding around Silverstone alongside racing heroes in an immersive show “The Ultimate Lap of Silverstone” with commentary by Murray Walker. Subject to availability, we also visit the Heritage Track Trail to explore a retired section of the Grand Prix circuit and see what’s racing around the track that day. In the afternoon, we have a guided tour of the beautiful gardens of Stowe , the scale and beauty of which We spend this morning at the famous Didcot Railway Centre , the living museum of the Great Western Railway, with a guided tour around the Railway Centre. We spend the afternoon in Oxford, with time at leisure to explore this famous city of dreaming spires. Day 5 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home. have attracted visitors for over 300 years. Day 4 Didcot Railway Centre & Oxford

Wined & Dined in Northamptonshire Our fabulous tour features Northampton’s historic Holdenby House and Delapré Abbey, where we tuck into a light lunch and afternoon tea respectively. We also enjoy a wine tasting, a steam train journey and visits to the charming towns of Stamford and Market Harborough. PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Holdenby House & Fleur Fields Vineyard Today we visit Holdenby House , once the largest house in Elizabethan England. We enjoy a guided tour of the house, which takes us along the nine ground floor rooms overlooking the gardens. We then have time to visit the eight gardens at leisure, including the Elizabethan garden, Pond Garden, King Charles’ Walk and Kitchen Garden, before enjoying a light lunch in the tearoom. In the afternoon, we visit Fleur Fields vineyard for a guided tour. The vineyard has been producing award-winning wine since 2004. We can taste 7 wines that are produced here whilst enjoying the views. Day 3 Nene Valley Railway & Stamford This morning we enjoy the nostalgia of an exciting ride on the Nene Valley Steam Railway before making our way to the delightful Georgian town of Stamford. Widely regarded as one of the finest stone towns in England, it has appeared in Pride & Prejudice, The Da Vinci Code, Middlemarch and Golden Bowl. Stamford’s narrow alleyways and hidden courtyards are home to a variety of speciality shops, whilst the high street has a great choice of independent and recognised retailers. Day 4 Market Harborough & Delapré Abbey We visit the charming market town of Market Harborough today, full of history, culture, delicious food and independent retailers. In pride of place is the 400 year old, half- timbered Old Grammar School which stands in the centre of the town. The Harborough Museum displays the famous Hallaton Treasure – one of the most important Iron Age discoveries in Britain. In the afternoon we visit Delapré Abbey , where we enjoy afternoon tea followed by a guided tour of this fascinating 900 year old monument. Day 5 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home.
