A Fab 4 Days in Liverpool Known for being the hometown of the world-famous Beatles, our tour takes us on a fascinating and unique experience with an individual taxi tour of the iconic places that shaped the lives and songs of Liverpool’s Fab 4. As Gerry & the Pacemakers said we “Ferry Cross the Mersey” and have heaps of time to explore more of this tremendous city too – check out our suggestions of what to do in this iconic city. PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Liverpool Fab 4 Taxi Tour This morning we are transported back to the Swinging Sixties on an entertaining 3 hour Beatles taxi tour. Touring around Liverpool and its surrounding suburbs in our private taxi, driven by a local expert guide, we learn all about Liverpool’s fab four lads with visits to some of the iconic places that shaped their lives – and songs. Tour highlights include their childhood homes, the place where John Lennon met a 15 year old Paul McCartney for the first time in 1957, the famous Penny Lane street, Strawberry Field and Eleanor Rigby’s grave. This nostalgic tour also includes stops for photos and refreshments. Day 3 Ferry Across the Mersey This morning we sail on Mersey Ferries for a 50 minute cruise across the mighty Mersey. One of the best ways to view the developing Liverpool skyline and the Albert dock is from the water, so this really ticks the box. The rest of the day is free to choose what to do and see. Why not visit one of the free museums on the impressive Albert Dock such as the Museum of Liverpool or the Tate & Merseyside Maritime Museum, guaranteed to keep us entertained for hours, with so many facts of Liverpool’s Maritime heritage and world trade influence. Day 4 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home.

This longer tour gives us more time in this wonderful city where there is so much on offer, and we’ve included an exclusive food tour around Liverpool, designed exclusively and specially for coach groups. No visit to the city would be complete without tracing some of the steps of the mighty Fab 4, so we have included a full day at 2 iconic attractions.
PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Liverpool Food Walking Tour
We have a nice leisurely start to our day at our hotel, before we head into the city midmorning to begin our exclusive 1 hour food tour. We’re guided around Liverpool city centre on foot, learning about the city’s history as we tuck into a 1 course traditional scouse lunch with a pint of beer, glass of house wine or soft drink at a separate independent and award-winning outlet. What could be better than discovering Liverpool as we eat and drink! We have the rest of the day free to enjoy the city.

Day 3 Strawberry Field & Beatles Museum Today is all about celebrating the Beatles. Our first visit is to Strawberry Field , the iconic site immortalised by John Lennon’s “Strawberry Fields Forever” and was originally the site for a Salvation Army children’s home, where John Lennon would have played in the grounds. Our visit is a self-guided journey around the interactive museum where we have a chance to escape into the past, before we enjoy a cream tea . We finish our day at the Beatles Story , the world’s largest permanent exhibition where we are transported on an incredible journey of the Fab 4 and see how they changed the world of music forever. Day 4 Southport or Chester Liverpool enjoys a great location in the northwest and is a short drive from both Southport and Chester. Today we can choose where to spend our day to suit our itinerary. Day 5 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home.
