CREATING CALM, SUPPORTIVE SPACES FOR YOUNG CHILDREN Thanks to the Roots & Wings Foundation, five pediatrics offices were enhanced with developmentally supportive engagement tools and essential supplies—benefiting tens of thousands of families annually. These investments promote early brain development, reduce anxiety during care, and help address basic needs for families of children prenatal through age 3. More enhancements to support infants and families are planned for 2026. ESSENTIAL NICU DISCHARGE SUPPORT Funding for premature infant car beds, compounded medications, and critical prescriptions helps families transition home safely—reducing length of stay and financial hardship.
WOMEN’S IMAGING INVESTMENT Expanded access to advanced breast imaging and specialized diagnostic care—supporting earlier detection and saving lives. GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGY RESEARCH Focused on accelerating basic science research, improving outcomes for women facing complex cancers. PULMONARY FUNCTION TESTING EQUIPMENT New pediatric PFT equipment, enhancing diagnosis and management of complex respiratory conditions for children.
Supporting Children with Diabetes
Donor support helps provide age- appropriate books, interactive resources, and even a Barbie with Type 1 Diabetes — turning fear into understanding and empowering young patients to thrive. This initiative is led by the Pediatric Diabetes/ Endocrinology team.
