Four Priority Outcomes
Character & Leadership Clubs help youth develop strong character and leadership skills, while empowering them to use their voices to create positive change. From service-learning experiences to youth-led advocacy opportunities, Clubs prepare the next generation of leaders to navigate an increasingly complex and interconnected world with a sense of responsibility and self-awareness.
Academic Success Academic success opens doors to opportunity. When young people are engaged in learning, they develop stronger connections to school, achieve more, and experience greater well-being. Through homework help, tutoring, and summer learning, Clubs reinforce classroom instruction, address learning gaps, and build essential skills such as teamwork, communication, and perseverance.
Health & Wellbeing Clubs provide young people with safe environments, healthy meals, physical activities, and emotional support. Fitness and recreation programs offer inclusive spaces where youth are able to stay active, play team sports, and learn the value of movement and teamwork. Nutrition programs teach youth to grow, cook, and eat healthy foods.
Life & Workforce Readiness Youth need practical skills to become productive, independent adults. Collaboration, adaptability, and communication skills are essential for future success. Career exploration helps youth identify their interests and understand how their passions and education can be connected to employment pathways. Work- based learning provides them with opportunities to gain real-world experience.
