Dear Students, With Thanksgiving near I think it is always a good practice to count our many blessings. I have a gratitude journal where I write down each day a few things I am thankful for. Writing in a gratitude journal can increase your positivity, improve your self-esteem, help you sleep better, make you happier and reduce stress (goodnet.org) . I will give you a sneak peek at today’s log: “Today I have gratitude for…” • My family, my pets • Amazing teachers, principals and other administrators, supervisors, support services, counselors, nurses, coaches, custodians, bus drivers, food service workers, and everyone who works hard to make our schools run well • SROs in every school • Our supportive Board of Education • Living in Cheatham County, an area of amazing beauty • Living in the United States, the greatest country in the world.
