Prioritization of needs

The following recreational elements have been separated into two lists; outdoor priorities and indoor priorities. These priorities are based on the culmination of input addressed in this Master Plan.

1 Inclusive Programming Inclusive programming for all ages was listed as a high priority.

Updates Senior Activity Rooms

Parking updates to the Senior Center were requested.

3 Indoor Aquatic Center Remaining a high priority from 2001, an Indoor Aquatic Center is heavily desired.

As stated in the introduction, the mission of this master plan is to create a living document that recognizes current socioeconomic changes by providing a flexible guide to address the current and future needs for recreation and leisure activities in DeSoto. The following action plan serves as that flexible and tangible guide for DeSoto to implement the priorities and recommendations outlined.
