The Sissy Chronicles Written and Performed by Mark Phillips Schwamberger A highly relatable exploration of the life experiences of a gay man, The Sissy Chronicles is filled with pathos, humor and heart-warming first-hand accounts of the societal structures and patterns which confront, shape and ultimately define the lives of those deemed “other” or “different.”

In the abstract world of his mind, Thomas struggles to write Alvin’s eulogy while recounting the many turns that their lives have taken since meeting as children. Jill, a retired nurse, is inspired to help Syrian refugees. The Syrians are fleeing their war-torn country and are separated from their families. Jill is assigned to a refugee camp in Albania, where she works with the staff to help these refugees. Will her family understand her desire to go an epic journey of her own?
