Based on the popular Disney Channel Original Movies, Disney’s Descendants: The Musical is a brand-new musical comedy featuring the beloved characters and hit songs from the films! Students rehearse for ten (10) consecutive Saturdays to bring the story of Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos – the children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Cruella De Vil, and Jafar to life. Performances take place Sat. Nov. 20 & Sun. Nov. 21. It is three days before Christmas. Grace, almost 18, works in a toy store owned by her grumpy aunt, Charlotte. She begs for a chance to go far away. Suddenly the lights go off; Grace and her friend Nikki are transported to the legendary Land of Forgotten Toys. They meet the elf, Schmedrick, encounter the Icicle Giant, and discover that the forgotten toys are not misfits; in fact, their “flaws” are key to their success. For, while we are all different, none of us are really misfits. Even in the darkest galaxies, there is always light! Performances take place Thurs. Dec. 16 – Sat. Dec. 18. It is three days before Christmas. Grace works in a toy store owned by her grumpy aunt, Charlotte. She begs for a chance to go far away. Grace and her friend Nikki are magically transported to the legendary Land of Forgotten Toys. They meet an elf named Schmedrick, encounter an Icicle Giant, and discover that the forgotten toys are not misfits; in fact, their “flaws” are key to their success. For, while we are all different, none of us are really misfits. And even in the darkest galaxies, there is always light!
