All ability levels are able to progress and regress in order to push toward their individual and team goals. 3-ZONE Butts & Guts is a strength and full body mobility program designed to burn calories and bring new levels of strength, power, support and flexibility to the butt, gut and shoulders. This approach brings structural longevity and pain-free movement. Finally, a small group fitness class just for active older adults. Work with a group fitness instructor once a week on exercises designed especially for those 55 and older. Strength building, balance and flexibility are emphasized. Work out with a group of your peers and see the results! 3-ZONE High Intensity Training NEW DCRC Fitness Instructor 3-ZONE is a dynamic, fun, high-energy small group/team fitness program experience that is more movement than muscle-oriented. All ability levels are able to progress and regress in order to push toward their individual and team goals. 3-ZONE High Intensity Training is a high intensity interval (HIIT) total body workout that utilizes a variety of tools, accessories, unique and challenging movements that also incorporates different elements of physical fitness including balance, mobility, strength, power and cardio. 3-ZONE incorporates functional training with one zone on the equipment such as using the TRX suspension, one zone with accessories including kettlebells, dumbbells or bands and one zone for HIIT using spinning cycles, step benches or bodyweight exercises. HIIT workouts provide similar fitness benefits as continuous endurance workouts, but in shorter periods and tend to burn more calories than traditional workouts. The small group format allows for more individual attention than a larger group fitness class. Try a free class on September 14 or 16, or November 2 or 4 (registration required).
