For others in the industry hesitant to start their own sustainability journey, Ned has simple advice: start small. “Taking baby steps is a good way to start,” he says. “Everybody should be switching over to LED lights, and smart devices like thermostats and lighting should be automatically controlled. You walk out of a room, the room should know there’s nobody there and turn off the lights.”
It’s not just about energy savings, it’s about shifting mindset.
“I think AI can play a humongous role,” Ned adds, “in providing an environment that is going to be very user-friendly and customized to the user. That’s the home of the 21st century. Eco-friendly, luxury, modern, and a very healthy environment to live in.”
