Levac had a March 9 meeting scheduled with the municipal building inspector and an official from the company’s insurance agent. Levac hopes to be able to salvage the remaining structure for rebuilding. He expects to have the second workshop restored within a month or two, depending on results of the building inspection. “I think we can save a good part of the building,” he informed. “If I can use the (original) four walls, rebuilding will be faster.” Meanwhile, company operations will continue out of the other building on the site. Un édifice de l’entreprise fami- liale Propane Levac, située à Saint-Isidore, a été la victime des flammes le mardi 6 mars. Le brasier a complètement détruit le bâtiment. Ce dernier était vide au moment de l’incendie et aucun autre édifice n’a été endommagé. L’incendie d’importance s’est déclaré vers 18 h dans l’usine de requalification de cylindre de l’entreprise de distribution de gaz propane située sur la rue Sainte- Catherine. Une quarantaine de pompiers de Saint-Isidore, Fournier, Saint-Bernardin, Saint-Albert, Limoges et Casselman ont alors été appelés sur les lieux. Ceux-ci ont réussi à maîtriser les flammes vers 20 h.
