ActivStars Karate

ActivStars has created one of the most comprehensive martial arts programs for children and teens in an ever-changing world. We teach our students to stay safely aware and avoid bullying while developing mind and body. Every ActivStars karate and martial arts instructor has been trained on our safety awareness SAFEShield. Steven Massey, founder and director of It Takes a Village, will offer after school performing arts programs in partnership with SCP+R. Programs will include art, music, voice, theater and dance along with tutoring, counseling and nutritional services.

Rice Community Center Age: 10-20 yrs. Time: Mon.-Fri. 4-9 p.m., Sat. 9 a.m.-Noon & 3-7 p.m., Sun. 2-7 p.m. as needed

Our Youth Open Rec program is a dynamic and vibrant space dedicated to providing young individuals with a safe and enjoyable environment where they can come together to explore their interests, connect with peers and stay active. Whether it's sports, arts and crafts, games, or simply hanging out, we offer a diverse range of activities to suit everyone's preferences. Gym, game area and computer lab are available.

Topeka Community Cycle Project

Get help with your bike from a volunteer of the Topeka Community Cycle Project. Volunteers will aid you in fixing flats, adjusting brakes and answering questions about bikes.
