VOLUNTEER!

ADOPT-A- PARK/TRAIL Show your community pride by adopting one of Shawnee County’s 110 parks or 60-miles of trails through our Adopt-A-Park program. What does it mean to adopt a park or trail? This program encourages your group to help the community enjoy our parks and trails through beautification activities and monthly debris pick up. What do you gain from adopting a park or trail? By adopting a park or trail, you can work together with Shawnee County Parks + Recreation to promote a sense of pride and appreciation of our parks and resources. It also provides the perfect excuse to get outside! Who can adopt a park or trail? Anyone! Student groups, Neighborhood Associations, Church Groups, Businesses looking for community engagement opportunities, Families looking to beautify their favorite parks or trails. We happily partner with anyone who is excited to partner with us!

Are you looking for ways to get involved in the community? Consider volunteering for Shawnee County Parks + Recreation!
