&/#3&'r#3*&'4 HYDRO ONE CEO’S SALARY CAPPED A new provincial directive, unveiled on February 21, requires Hydro One’s board of directors to establish a new Compensation Framework within six months. “After receiving a proposal that included a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) compensation cap of $2.775 mil- lion, it is clear that Hydro One’s Board of Directors has failed to take steps to adequately reduce compensation for both the CEO and themselves as board members,” said Minister of Energy, Northern Development and Mines Greg Rickford. – Francis Racine MEASLES VACCINATION ADVISORY The Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) reminds all residents to make sure that measles vaccinations are up-to-date for both adults and children. The warning follows on recent reports of measles outbreaks in Western Canada and parts of the United States. The EOHU noted there have been no recent reports of measles in Eastern Ontario, but it is monitoring the situation and will advise of any incidents. The measles vaccine is available free of charge from local doctors and medical clinics. The EOHU also has vaccine available and staff will do vaccinations.
