Foundations of Pre-Medicine & Allied Health Year 1 This program offers foundational skills for entry into the healthcare field, teaching students medical terminology and the structure and function of the human body’s major systems. Participants gain hands-on experience through clinical lab simulations, mastering tasks such as patient intake, vital sign assessment, routine diagnostic procedures, and emergency first-aid protocols. Foundations of Pre-Medicine & Allied Health Year 2 Designed for second-year students, this program builds upon foundational knowledge with advanced skills in clinical diagnostics and patient communication. Students continue to work with industry-standard medical equipment while navigating patient rights, HIPAA privacy laws, and effective patient communication strategies. Emphasizing real-world application, students engage in daily exposure to practical scenarios through electronic health records management and front-office workflows, along with clinical shadowing and mentorships with physicians, radiologists, physical therapists, pharmacists, and diagnostic specialists.
