10A in-line connector The in-line adaptor enables installers to bring Wi-Fi functionality to any device or appliance and is a welcome product in the range where you want to automate an existing light fitting. Remember, wall switches in this country have no neutral, so designing Wi-Fi controlled switches as direct replacements is not practicable. These in-line connectors, however, are simply wired-in in series and popped through the ceiling aperture or in-line with the power cord of an appliance. Smart fused spurs Fused spurs are ubiquitous and, with a mains connection in place, are just ripe for upgrading. A single gang fused spur timer is ideal for adding remote control to wall and immersion heaters, towel rails, appliances like washing machines and dryers, and outdoor or display lighting.
