Sid Rowell, Head of School at Gill St. Bernard’s School. Built from a pre-engineered steel structure, the multi-pur- pose recreational center and gymnasium features bleachers that seat approximately 200 people, a multi-sport practice and game court, new locker rooms with 120 double-height lockers, new bathrooms, and a new fitness and exercise facil- ity. The recreational facility also serves as the main gym- nasium for Lower and Middle School students. The project required extensive site-work and landscaping, as well as the installation of all new utility services required to support the new facility. “The new recreation building is a powerful asset for both Gill St. Bernard and its students, and we were pleased to sup- port the school by bringing this project to completion swiftly and efficiently,” said Kieran Flana- gan , president at Hollister. Hollister’s portfolio of notable projects includes K-12 private institutions, urban charter schools and higher-education institutions throughout the tri-state area. Most recently, the company completed five new charter schools located in Newark and Jersey City.
