HERRY HILL, NJ — For the second time, Hutchinson has been awa r d e d a mu l t i - y e a r contract for t he D i r e c t Install pro- gram offered through New J e r s e y ’ s Clean En- ergy Program (NJCEP). “We’re excited that the NJ- CEP has once again granted us the opportunity to serve as a designated Direct Install contractor where we can con- tinue to provide businesses and government entities with cost- effective energy efficiency solu- tions,” said Ed Hutchinson , president of Hutchinson. “Be- cause of the drastic savings and quick return on investment, Becker Morgan Group wins Brick in Architecture De- sign Award Reston, VA — Becker Morgan Group was honored with a 2016 Brick in Archi- tecture Bronze Award for the William F. Cooke, Jr. Elemen- tary School in the Educational K-12 category from the Brick Industry Association (BIA) . The Brick in Architecture De- sign Awards recognize “the country’s most visionary proj- ects” that incorporate fired- clay brick. “These winners demonstrate the best of brick’s aesthetic flexibility, and as a material made from abundant natural resources, it’s a perfect strategy in sustainable design,” said Ray Leonhard , BIA’s president and CEO. “We’re honored to have a project rec- ognized in one of the country’s most prestigious architectural award programs” said Brad Hastings, AIA, LEED AP of Becker Morgan Group. The use of brick in conjunc- tion with metal panels provides an exterior aesthetic which is colorful, timeless, and sus- tainable. Brick also allowed the designers to carry exterior materials into the building’s interior spaces to draw the aes- thetic together while providing a high performing material re- quiring minimal finishing and maintenance. The brick utilized provides a sophisticated, time- less feel while meeting all the aesthetic, maintenance, and sustainability requirements put forth by the owner. n C
Direct Install is in demand.” Direct Install is a turnkey energy efficiency solution cre- ated specifically for existing small to medium-sized facili- ties. Through Direct Install, Hutchinson’s specially trained contractors help businesses complete the application/agree- ment, performthe FREE energy assessment to identify eligible equipment replacements, and replace the equipment. Cur- rently, the program pays up to 70% of retrofit costs on lighting, heating, cooling & ventilation (HVAC), refrigeration, motors, natural gas equipment and variable frequency drives.
Direct Install is available to existing small to mid-sized com- mercial and industrial facilities with a peak electric demand that did not exceed 200 kW in any of the preceding 12 months. Buildings must be located in New Jersey and served by one of the state’s public, regulated electric or natural gas utility companies. Hutchinson is a leading ener- gy/mechanical service contrac- tor performing energy services, mechanical construction and retrofit installation work in the Greater Philadelphia Tri-State Region.
