8. Business Continuity. As a member of the Residences Senior Management Team to support Emergency Plans and Local Resilience plans ensuring that these relate to and are part of the overall University’s business continuity plans. 5 % 9. Represent. Work across the University as a senior member of Residential Services actively participating in wider cross-University projects or initiatives representing the Director of Residential Services when appropriate. Any other duties as allocated by the line manager following consultation with the post holder. 5 % 10. Any other duties as allocated by the line manager following consultation with the post holder.

Internal and external relationships

Other senior colleagues across the University, particularly within E&F, Finance, Legal, Procurement, HR and ITC. Colleagues from partner organisations. Relevant suppliers, contractors and consultants to Residential Services including possible service providers. Statutory bodies and representatives of Southampton, Eastleigh andWinchester city Councils. Colleagues from other universities. Staff representative groups and other such organisations.

Special Requirements

Some work outside of core hours will be required due to the remit of some operations. Travel will be involved and a car plus clean driving licence is a requirement. As a member of the senior team the post-holder may be called upon in residential emergencies.
