On July 14, a special fundraiser was held at Russell Foodland, where people were invited to meet the new interimmanager, JeffGoulding. Despite the rain, Jeff and Kin members were in the parking lot cooking hotdogs, hamburgers and giving out pop andwater, for donations to the newRussell Township Sports Dome. Once the Maple Leaf truck had left, people could still come and enjoy the food along with some cake. La MDA présente la pièce Matilda
Un groupe de 28 adolescents qui participent présentement au camp d’été Musicamp , offert par la Maison des Arts (MDA) d’Embrun, sont à finaliser leur pièce musicale «Matilda». Le camp d’été, qui a pour but de produire une pièce théâtrale musicale, comporte des ateliers de chant, de danse, de théâtre et d’art visuel, qui sont utilisés comme préparation aux présenta- tions publiques qui auront lieu les 2 et 3 août prochains. – Vicky Charbonneau
