“We really need this expansion,” said Jack Trostle, Pittsburg Plant Manager. “Right now, we are maxed out as far as what we can do. Our employees are working at full capacity to provide superior cus- tomer service and a world-class product. Expanding is the only logical conclusion as we look at the po- tential of the current manufacturing platform.” Kendall Packaging provides custom packaging solu- tions for a broad cross section of private label compa- nies and specializes in products in the baked goods, cheese, confectionary, dry foods, frozen foods, meats, pasta, personal care, pet food and snack food markets. The company was launched in Milwaukee,Wiscon- sin, in 1948 by Lowell Kendall who began as a con- tract packager. In 1970, Eric G. The company acquired the Pittsburg, Kansas, facili- ty in 1987, and five years later moved its Milwaukee facility to a larger building in Jefferson,Wisconsin. In 2005, the Jefferson location installed a 52-inch, 10- color Novoflex press fromWindmoeller and Hoelsch- er.
