His knowledge of racing and the Melbourne Cup Carnival has been honed over many years in the industry and is a life-long passion. Having witnessed many Melbourne Cup Carnivals in his role at the Victoria Racing Club (and formerly Racing Victoria), Leigh has a sixth sense on how the day will unfold and where to look for that little bit of magic on the track. Senior Flemington Track Manager Liam O’Keeffe has one of the most important roles at the VRC. Charged with maintaining the quality, condition and upkeep of our world famous Cup Week track.
