Net Zero Scope 2 Emissions Achieved!
In 2023 we installed an onsite solar array which led to big impacts.
From 2022 to 2024, Moore & Giles reduced total scope 1 & 2 CO2e emissions by 47.8% and
achieved* Net Zero scope 2 emissions in 2024 and 2025, through a combination of decreased
fuel and electricity consumption, onsite renewable energy systems, and renewable energy credits
100% of our electricity at both of
(RECs).
*Using market-based accounting for scope 2
our facilities is sourced from solar.
By sourcing RECs from small solar facilities within our directly connected regional grid, (PJM),
Moore & Giles supported distributed generation, localized renewable impact, and advanced our
2025 Net Zero Scope 2 goals.
