Reflections from Our CEO

As we reflect on the past year, I am inspired by the commitment our teams bring to the work of sustainability, not because it

is expected, but because we believe it matters.

In 2025, we maintained net-zero Scope 2 emissions across our facilities, a standard we uphold with pride and ongoing

diligence. We also reached a significant milestone in our waste reduction efforts, diverting more than 172 tons of internal

waste from landfills. This achievement reflects the care, creativity, and accountability of our employees, who serve as daily

stewards of an extensive inventory and operation.

Through the promotion of carbon-neutral leather and the use of carbon-neutral or offset shipping options, we supported

meaningful projects around the world that reduce and avoid carbon emissions. These efforts reinforce an important truth: the

choices we make here have an impact far beyond our own walls.

We also continued to champion conservation and highlight the role leather can play in a circular economy. We do this not as

an afterthought, but as an essential part of the conversation around responsible materials and sustainable manufacturing.

Closer to home, we strengthened our presence within the community by expanding our outreach initiatives and deepening

the relationships that make that work meaningful and lasting.

None of these accomplishments happened by chance. They are the result of people asking harder questions, setting higher

standards, and believing that how we make things is just as important as what we make.

Sustainability is not a finish line; it is a way of working. It is woven into our decisions, our materials, and the values of the

people who define our organization. I am grateful to every employee who contributed to this year's progress, and I look

forward to the opportunities ahead as we continue building a more responsible and resilient future together.

Carbon Neutral Shipping

Shipping via UPS Carbon Neutral and FedEx Carbon Offset

In 2025 we deepened our commitment to environmental stewardship by shipping carbon neutral to our downstream clientele. Through UPS Carbon Neutral and FedEx Carbon Offset programs, we offset 74.95 MT C02e, which is equivalent to 1,239* tree sequestering carbon for 10 years. These offsets fund projects around the world that actively avoid or remove greenhouse gas emissions; some projects are listed below .

INTERNAL INITIATIVES

Waste Reduction Initiative

In late 2021 we conducted an internal waste audit to understand what we were sending to

the landfill. Additionally, we reviewed our existing recycling efforts and their level of

success. We discovered the majority of our waste was supplier's packaging that we were

receiving with our shipments. While the packaging is necessary to protect the quality of our

product, we set out to find specific solutions for each type of waste that wasn't simply "add

it to the landfill. Our program took off in 2022 with great success.

We continued to reduce impacts in 2025 by reaching a grand total of 172.15 tons of

diverted waste through our onsite waste reduction initiative, a program developed to

recycle, repurpose, or reuse our packaging and facility waste. Through education and

training, we encourage our team to reduce, reuse and recycle all types of waste both at

the office and at home.

Waste categories diverted through reduction initiatives as of December 2025:

Single Stream – 16,132 lbs. = 8.06T

Shipping Blanket – 37,704 lbs. = 18.85T

Plastic Film – 38,239 lbs. = 18.85T

Wood Scrap – 159,520 lbs. = 79.76T

Cardboard – 92,309 lbs. = 46.15T

Misc. – 405 lbs. = .2T

NATURE-BASED SOLUTIONS

Where Nature Thrives, So Do We

By converting several acres of land at our Virginia headquarters into a certified

Conservation & Wildlife Habitat, we are supporting our declining pollinator population

and increasing biodiversity. The deep root systems of native plants enrich the soil and

reduce erosion and runoff, creating a positive impact on the local watershed, while

also sequestering carbon. Through this initiative, we are transitioning from Sustainable

to Regenerative, by working in harmony with nature. We continue our work to steward

this land and educate on its importance, while providing opportunities for nature

connection to our employees, as a new chapter of our history.

Carbon Neutral Leather

When you choose Moore & Giles carbon neutral leather you are helping to offset the cradle to gate embodied carbon impact through third-party verified carbon offsets.

Through these offsets, under the Climate Action Reserve (CAR), we supported a crucial project to capture hazardous Methane from entering the atmosphere in the Midwest.

COMMITTED TO REDUCING OUR CARBON FOO TP RINT

We continue our journey of offsetting impacts through two Carbon Neutral Leather options, Mont Blanc and Tribeca, two of our most

popular choices.

Please review our EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations) for more detail around the measure for Mont Blanc and Tribeca.

We worked with third party industry experts to

measure through an LCA, the embodied carbon impact from Cradle to Gate for these leathers, took measures to reduce those impacts through renewable energy installations, and offset the remaining balance.

For more information about our offsets, please refer to our 2025 Annual Carbon Neutral Verification Certificate below, or contact Beverly@mooreandgiles.com.

Leather Circularity

Leather's durability gives it a longer life compared to other materials. Its functionality extends beyond

a bag or a chair: it can be repaired, reused, redesigned, and even recycled into new products.

Even scrap can be given a new life (and avoid the landfill). We developed a product to recycle our

onsite leather waste--scraps, old samples, and trimmings--into a new sheet good we call Habitat.

The innovative process is free of the typical PVC or polyurethane typically found in recycled leather

products. Habitat is manufactured domestically using Moore & Giles scrap leather combined with a

water-based blend of FDA approved and plant-derived ingredients. This mixture is pressed and dried

into sheets, producing a final product suitable for leather accessories and upholstery.

This program is still a work in progress but we're excited to continue exploring the possibility for

Habitat to be a solution to a significant, industry-wide waste problem and a means to close the loop of

circularity further down the manufacturing chain.

Reclaimed Collection: Celebrating Resource Stewardship and Circular Design

The Reclaimed Collection embodies Moore & Giles’ commitment to reducing waste and valuing natural resources. Sourced from Italian and New Zealand hides, the collection reclaims leather that would otherwise be rejected by conventional industry standards due to scars or color variations. By repurposing these high-quality materials, we not only divert usable hides from the waste stream but also honor the authenticity and integrity of natural leather. Each piece reflects our belief that sustainability begins with responsible material

use, transforming what others overlook into timeless, purposeful design.

Wild Idea Buffalo Collaboration: Supporting Regenerative Ecosystems

Moore & Giles’ collaboration with Wild Idea Buffalo Company exemplifies our commitment to regenerative sourcing and responsible material use. The hides at the center of our Wild Idea Buffalo collection are sourced from regenerative ranching operations that restore the rapidly declining prairie ecosystems of the Great Plains. By supporting this collaboration, we advance both environmental restoration and purpose-driven design, demonstrating how materials can contribute to healthier ecosystems while creating timeless, sustainable leather.

PEOPLE 44

There is something in us that has always known, before we had language for it, that we are not separate from the natural world. We are part of it. That knowing is quiet. It doesn't announce itself. But it surfaces in the choices we make, the materials we choose, the systems we design. Sustainability, at its deepest, is simply the act of remembering what we already belong to and choosing to protect it.

Looking Ahead

As we close this chapter, we are already writing the next one. The work ahead is a reimagining of what is possible and how to get there. In 2026, we are setting our sights on areas where we believe our actions can reach further, connect more meaningfully, and leave less behind.

We are redefining how we divert waste moving through our operations. We are deepening our commitment to certified product standards, growing our portfolio, meeting our customers where their values are, and making it easier to choose with confidence. We are expanding our reach outward, collaborating with partners across the sustainability landscape whose expertise complements our own, because the challenges we share deserve solutions we build together. Perhaps most fundamentally, we are investing in how people learn. Rather than treating sustainability as a topic to be taught in isolation, we are weaving it into the fabric of educational resources and experiences so that the next generation of designers, makers, and decision-makers encounters it not as a constraint, but as a foundation. We believe sustainability is most powerful when it is embedded as the architecture of everything we build.

The road ahead is wide. We walk it with intention and look forward to meeting you along the way.
