Head Platform Tennis Position
Wilmington Country Club is a prestigious private club that offers its members a full range of recreational and social amenities. Our club has an outstanding reputation for its commitment to excellence in the quality of services and experiences provided to its members. We are currently hiring for a full time Head Platform Tennis Professional, with experience in teaching other racquets sports, such as Tennis, Pickleball and Squash. Our goal is to provide a high standard of service to our membership. Responsibilities: Help to create, organize and run social paddle activities including, leagues, events, club tournaments as well as local and national tournaments Teach Private, Semi-private, three and me, group lessons and Cup Practices. Weekend teaching would also be required. Manage Platform Tennis league teams, as well as assist Team Captains. Provide support in the Racquet Shop. Support in teaching in one or more racquet sports: Tennis, Squash and/or Pickleball. Requirements: An APTA, RSPA or PTR teaching certification is required. Platform Tennis Index of 15 or less A highly motivated and energetic person with strong people skills. Compensation and Benefits: Compensation includes a competitive salary, hourly lesson fees and group lesson fees.
