P hilip McElhone Construction Ltd was named the winner of the Small Renovation Project award for their addition of a single-storey extension to this property, which the judges agreed has drastically improved the living space for their clients without compromising any of the original features. The judges noted how architectural aspects on this project such as the mouldings have been matched perfectly between old and new, and complemented the clever lighting used so as not to interfere with the comfort of close neighbours. Although the project was impacted by terrible weather conditions, Philip McElhone received praise for their commitment to delivering for their client, who stated, “Communication with the team was excellent and we would have no reservations in recommending them.” Reacting to his company’s win,
