Pain at the end of the day and a complaint of a “heavy head” feeling is an indicator of spinal muscle weakness and instability. The neck and shoulder muscles just can’t tolerate the weight of the head (about the weight of a bowling ball) with daily activities, tiring quickly and causing pain towards the end of the day. Neck pain in the morning that radiates to the shoulders or down the arms can be associated with the disc problems between your neck bones (vertebrae). Therefore, what is the best course of action?
