Gary Swann is Northern Ireland’s Plumbing & Heating Sales Person of the Year 2021. With over 20 years of experience in the plumbing and heating sector, Gary has gained an extensive amount of industry knowledge and understanding. As Altecnic’s Sales Manager for Northern Ireland, he has been described by happy customers as someone who makes their business relationship with Altecnic better. In fact, since joining Altecnic only three years ago, Gary has increased sales by 30%. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic he has worked tirelessly to maintain his excellent customer service, adapting quickly to new methods of communication, such as video calls, so as to be always virtually available to customers who need him. This year’s judging panel agreed Gary was a deserving winner of the 2021

The Catherine Patterson Award was launched in memory of much- loved industry personality, Catherine Patterson, who worked for Vaillant, and it is presented to one of Northern Ireland’s best up-and-coming Gas Installers who has shown great promise in character and exemplary workmanship. Our judging panel unanimously agreed that Chris Dawson from CD Plumbing & Gas Services in Newtownabbey was a deserving winner of this year’s inaugural award. After setting up CD Plumbing & Gas Services in 2016, Chris has grown the business from strength to strength and generated a reputation for first class service and high standards of work. Commenting on his win, Chris said, “I’m absolutely over the moon that CD Plumbing & Gas Services has won the Catherine Patterson Award for best up-and-coming Gas Installer.
