Data for the Win As one of the top-ranked statistics and data science programs in the nation, Dietrich College boasts more than two dozen Tartans — and counting — in the front offices of the National Football League, Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association and the National Hockey League. Adam Brodie (DC 2014, 2017), Max Horowitz (DC 2016) and Sarah Mallepalle (DC 2018) have leveraged their academic achievements at Dietrich College in their current positions with major sports programs.

Vivienne Ming (DC 2006) is executive chair of Socos Labs, a philanthropic think tank she co-founded with her wife, fellow CMU alumna Norma Ming. Their work uses artificial intelligence to solve problems no one else can seem to fix.
Keeping it Real
Angela Molloy (DC 1997) is the vice president for development and head of West Coast development at We TV, bringing friends, home makeovers, multimillion- dollar real estate deals, therapy sessions and celebrities’ day-to-day lives into our homes.
