Young Forwarder Network

Clara Thomas, who works for Quality Freight, has taken over as chair of the virtual Young Forwarder Network New virtual YFN chair appointed

W e are pleased to virtual format of the Young Forwarder Network (v)YFN. Clara takes over from Herbie Cobby, GEODIS, who has helped run the (v)YFN events every month for the past year with our events team. Clara, who works for Quality Freight based in south Wales, has attended many (v)YFN events and announce Clara Thomas as the new chair of the port tours. She is excited to get started and looking to add her enthusiasm to the good work done to this format of the network. She is also keen to support other BIFA activities in the southwest region. Carl Hobbis, member services director at BIFA, who has management responsibility for the

trade association’s training and development services, said: “The monthly events held online attract good numbers and are very popular. They last for one hour, cover a range of topics and, as with all YFN events, guests always learn something new. Get in touch “We are always looking for more people to get involved in the YFN whether that be supporting online events or the attending quarterly regional groups’ face-to-face networking. We encourage BIFA Members to get in touch with us, support the YFN in whatever way they can and encourage young people to attend.”
