Garment Sewing • AGES 7-12 Learn how to make something new that you can wear! This beginner class will instruct users on garment sewing basics including the importance of seams and seam allowances, how to read a pattern and best practices of cutting out the material. The instructor will provide the sewing pattern, thread, and any other notions. The project for this class will be a jacket. Students will need to bring fabric that suits their own personal style. Please purchase 2 yards of fabric for project. Recommend fabrics are: fleece, wool, denim, flannel or corduroy. Parent/Child Teddy and Me Time • AGES 2-8 Make the cutest bear you have ever seen! First stuff your new friend, wish upon a star and think of a unique name to place on his or her birth certificate.
