Gymnastics • AGES 6-14 Student gymnasts learn skills pertaining to floor, beam, bars and vault. They focus on building strength, body awareness and hand-eye coordination through repetition of weekly drills and the instruction that is essential to fully develop skills. Each level builds on the previous level with instructor approval and certain skill achievement necessary to move up. Your gymnast should expect to be in a level for a year before advancing. Coaches reserve the right to move the gymnast to the appropriate program if they believe placement is incorrect. Gymnasts must be in first grade to begin this program. Gymnastics: Boys’ • AGES 6-13 Use all men’s equipment to learn all aspects of men’s gymnastics. Equipment includes floor, vault, high bar, parallel bars, rings and pommel horse. Develop form, strength, balance, speed and coordination through repetition of weekly drills and receive the instruction that is essential to fully develop skills. Each level builds on the previous level with instructor approval and certain skill achievement necessary to move up. Participants should expect to be in Boys’ Level 1 for at least a year before advancing to Boys’ Level 2. Gymnasts must be in first grade to begin this program.
