Our recently launched 2018-30 Strategic Framework signals the start of an ambitious new chapter for Derby, building on our teaching excellence, growing our research profile and further establishing our impact regionally, nationally and globally. Our estate has been an important factor in our success to date. Over the past 10 years we have invested over £200m across our Derby campus and our sites in Buxton, Chesterfield and Leek to create for our staff and students inspiring facilities which enable them to achieve fantastic things. Our future plans are equally ambitious. We therefore need a Director of Estates with the knowledge, experience and leadership qualities to drive forward a high performing team on the next phase of estates development and management, thereby truly establishing Derby as a modern, exciting student destination city.
