Most people look at “giving” completely backwards. People think when they start receiving they will give, but it does not work that way. Have you ever heard anyone say, “If I find someone who gives me what I need in a relationship then I will be ready to give back”? Or maybe, “Once I have more time in my life I will give my time to help others”? Or perhaps, “Once I become rich I will give to people in need”? That is not the way it works. You need to give before you receive.
