Totally Fulfilled

I used the example of visualizing a dream house because so many people long for that sense of security a home gives, but you can do this with any and all of your major goals or wishes. If you truly allowed yourself to imagine and dream for even a moment that it really was as you pictured, then congratulations! If you couldn’t picture it yet, don’t worry. In their early teens, most people forgot how to imagine. You simply need to remember what it was like being a kid. Remember the childlike enthusiasm and innocence you had when you thought about what you wanted to do Success requires imagination, so doing this exercise is one of the most valuable skills to building a core inside yourself that can make anything possible. Believe me when I say your dreams are only an inch away from reality. An Epidemic of Dissatisfaction Just being an adult can sometimes rob us of our dreams, can’t it? The overwhelming majority of Americans are going to retire broke, and most spend their lives in jobs they hate. Can we attribute this to a failure of our imagination? According to www.mediate.com , “The divorce rate in the United States is the highest in the world, with 50% of marriages ending in divorce.” According to the Sur- geon General’s web site, “61% of Americans are overweight or obese,” and the Center for Disease Control says, “By 2020, depression is expected to be the second leading cause of worldwide disability and the number one disabling condition in the develop- ing world.” So many people are feeling so much pain and disillusion- ment that they can’t imagine changing the direction their lives are going. That doesn’t have to be the case. Everyone can alter their Success requires imagination… that hour or that day, or what you would be someday. It was easier then, as a child, before life may have made you believe otherwise.
