Chapter 6. No More Obstacles
I thank God for this failure now. It could have stopped me in my tracks, and I would have lived a mediocre life. It could have instilled a strong limiting belief in me that if I try something and it doesn’t work out, or if it hurts me, I should never try again. And that might have extended to anything in my life: relationships, health, emotions, business, and everything in between. This story is an example of the type of failures that led to my success. I may not have gotten that deal, but I probably was not ready for it at the time, and losing it only made me stronger and smarter for the next one. Today, I am fortunate enough to make more money than I ever dreamed possible, and looking back, I know that would have never have been possible without failures and lessons like this one.
