Flint Group confirmed the acquisition of Xeikon, a digital solutions provider to the packaging and com- mercial printing markets. Xeikon’s products and services will now form the foundation of a newly created division to be called Flint Group Digital Printing Solutions. CCL Acquires Mabel’s Labels
CCL Industries has acquired Mabel’s Labels and Mabel’s Labels Retail, privately owned companies with common shareholders based in Ontario, Cana- da, which it will integrate into its Avery segment. Mabel’s Labels is a North American brand for durable, personalized identification labels for chil- dren and families. The debt-free, all-cash purchase consideration, subject to customary closing condi- tions, is approximately $12 million. Actega WIT, Actega Kelstar Merge Actega WIT and Actega Kelstar, manufacturers of inks, coatings and adhesives for packaging and print- ing markets, have merged to form Actega North America.
