The 1,051 detached listings in Surrey in December were down 35% month-over-month and 20% lower year-over-year. December’s detached sales (261 homes) were down by 3% vs November but 91% above December 2018. The sales-to-listings ratio increased in December, to 25%, as Surrey’s detached market became favour- able to sellers. At $1.05M, the benchmark price for detached homes was relatively unchanged vs November and 1.9% lower vs December 2018. The average sold price of $1.14M was 1.3% lower month-over-month but 8% higher vs December of last year.
