Calendar Art Contest Categories and Ideas
As Community Bank & Trust celebrates its 20th Anniversary in 2019, we invite all K-12 Students to help create our annual calendar for the 2020 calendar year. This special keepsake calendar will celebrate our local communities through students’ creativity. NO FEE TO ENTER and open to all Cheatham and Robertson County students.
Community is one of Community Bank & Trust’s most important concepts. Choose and illustrate one of the best things about your community during one of the following seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter. Prizes Winning artwork will be published in the 2020 Community Bank and Trust Calendar which will be distributed thoughout both Cheatham and Robertson counties. The winners’ parents & teachers will be notified via phone/email indicating their child’s /students’ art will be published. 3 Winners will be chosen from each grade group. CALL FOR ENTRIES!
Guidelines The Calendar Art Contest is divided into four grade groups: Group 1: K-3rd Group 2: 4th - 6th Group 3: 7th - 9th Group 4: 10th - 12th • One entry per student. (Entry must have a copy of a completed entry form with the artwork.) Community Bank & Trust is not responsible for entries that are late, damaged, or lost. • Artwork must be the child’s/student’s orginal work. • Artwork must relate to Community. • All entries and forms are due by June 1, 2019
Artwork Create your own artwork with your favorite tools: markers, crayons, pens, pencils, pastels, paints, etc. NO 3-D artwork please. • Artwork dimensions may not exceed 8.5 x 11. (Landscape format preferable, but not required) • Digital media must be 300 dip, jpeg, or PDF format • Entries can be dropped off, mailed, or emailed. I give Community Bank & Trust permission to use the attached art and child’s name for Community Bank & Trust’s 2020 calendar art purposes, and I acknowledge and understand that the art will become the property of Community Bank & Trust. I further grant permission to Community Bank & Trust or its agents to use my child’s name and photo likeness in advertising, publicity, and other media.
