Reusable Grocery Bag Day!

Friday, March 1st, TDOT will be partnering with Keep Tennessee Beautiful and the Tennessee Grocers Association to hold a reusable bag event at 483 grocery stores across the state. Stores will be distributing special “Nobody Trashes Tennessee” reusable grocery bags to all customers, while supplies last. Participating grocers include: Kroger, Food City, Food Lion, IGA and independent grocers, Publix, Mitchell Grocery, and Piggly Wiggly. The event will bring awareness to TDOT’s Nobody Trashes Tennessee litter prevention campaign and will be held at the beginning of the three-month Great American Cleanup period.
