limit, residents will have to affix a tag to that container. For 2013, each household will receive ten free tags, which are worth $2.50 each. In the future, the tags, which will cost $2.60 in 2014, must be purchased by residents. However, the contractor will not examine the contents of containers. Walsh asked: “If you can’t see inside, what point is there in having the tags?” However, at the same time, Councillor Gerry Miner said it would be wrong to assume that all bins would be full and would exceed the cap.
