Touhy Ave., Des Plaines, IL 60018 Pay: $18 - $20/hr. Hours per week & shifts: Up to 40 hours per week between 8am – 4:30pm Description: Assist with full cycle recruiting efforts: posting jobs, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Acquire hands-on experience and use of the corporate Applicant Tracking System and use it for ongoing recruiting needs. Maintain communication with applicants, answer questions, pre-screen applicants online and set up interviews. Coordinate the flow of applicants and ensure efficiency in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding applicants. Handle employee inquiries and assist with the internal promotion program. Design and create recruiting flyers and other external communication to attract applicants (use of social media etc.) Support onboarding processes including preparing new hire materials Contribute to HR initiatives such as employee engagement and recognition programs. Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed. Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. Strong interest in exploring / pursuing a career in Human Resources. Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity. Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude.
